I don't believe mds are any more deserving of being addressed by a title than anyone else. And I don't consider myself a patient of any of them. I would never allow myself to be placed "under" any of them for care.

I am not on facebook and don't care about the therapist. I don't really think there needs to be any rules established about what they post or how they post. I personally would believe most people simply should not use facebook because it seems to cause so much distress in general - but if a therapist or md or anyone else wants to plaster info about themselves on such a site - have at it. Any one (a client) who hires a therapist does have some responsibility, in my opinion, to realize and regulate, how finding out personal info about others (the therapist) can cause a change in perspective about the therapist and if the client cannot handle such, stay off or don't search.
