I am not a shrink but I can see how some disturbing things could be
possible after such a trauma
but I would not allow that trauma to excuse the boy's misbehavior.

Apparantly there are other things that are going on too that she hasn't told me (I told her to document everything and email me this documentation), she told me there are things on there I don't know about yet. she is scared that her Dad or the the gf will find out and make her life even more hell there. If this were my problem, I'd go to any extremes to go bring my child back home. Then I'd ask CPS to go examine that disturbed family.
