Perhaps you could start each of the three projects now and clock the time it takes you do do an initial section. That would allow you to estimate how long it would take you to complete all three projects in clock hours. You would then know how to pace yourself to get them completed by the end of Sept. and whether or not taking a break is feasible.

This technique helped me immensely in undergrad and grad school.
