I think you're lonely and want/need intimacy, and don't see any avenues to it other than through your friends. I can kind of relate. Especially if you find your friends attractive.
When your desire for intimacy is so strong, it can dominate your mind. It's kind of like ... when you're really hungry, anything tastes good, right ? That's the best analogy I can come up with.
I don't really see anything wrong with your desire. You're a young adult curious about sex and intimacy (esp since you've never made love to anyone), and that's normal, so it's ok to explore a bit. Of course, there are risks when it comes to getting intimate with friends - if it doesn't work out, it may become awkward or impossible to hang out with the same friends again. You might end up destroying valuable friendships.
There really isn't a yes/no answer to this one, esp since I don't know the specifics of your situation. I say it's ok to explore the possibility, but there are definite risks to keep in mind.
