I'm a hugger IRL and here at PC. That said, I do my very best to respect the other person's boundaries. IRL I reaqd body language. If I sense the person does not want to be touched I back off. If I'm not sure what message they are sending I'll ask.
It as little harder here at PC because we can't read body language. Again, if in doubt I ask.
