I'm in California, about 1 1/2 hours south of San Francisco in a surfing/university town called Santa Cruz. The hospital is in Monterey, about 45 minutes south. It is called the Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula ( CHOMP) and the psych unit is called the Garden Pavillion. They are fantastic. I've been many times over the years and even when staff changes the quality of care and procedures do not.
