I had a problem previously with MySpace and the WordPress Theme Viewer site, where, instead of performing the action of a script (like when you click on a function button), it would pop up a window, asking what I wanted to do with the file. This happened in Firefox, and in IE, I'd get a blank page. However, I found this only happening under my user account, but not my admin account.
Ok, I solved that problem (after a couple of weeks of frustration and hair-tearing-out), by creating a new profile in Firefox, having to reconfigure everything and reinstall and reconfigure my extensions.
I've found, though, that sometimes this problem creeps up on this board. I suddenly started having it when clicking on "General" to go to that board. It asks what I want to do with postlist.php, and the choices are to open it with a program, or download it. I don't want to do either; I want to open it in Firefox. The thing is, it doesn't do it when I click on other forums. Any idea what's going on? Thanks!
