With the exception of my gothic clothing, which I pretty much gave up wearing but still have, I'm wearing the same stuff now that I was wearing in high school. I'm 34.

As long as you don't look in the mirror & think, wow, I look ridiculous, then I think you can wear what you want. I worried about dressing my age for a little while when I turned 30. I felt like I should be changing my entire wardrobe to be "more mature". But after a while I said screw that because then I'll be unhappy & uncomfortable.

As long as I am dressed appropriately for whatever situation I'm in, I wear what I want. I still wear tees from Aeropostale, I still wear hoodies, I wear sarcastic tees, I always wear tennis shoes, I'm lucky enough to get away with wearing tees & jeans to work almost year-round.

My gf is 30 & she has Converse in every darn color. Wear them to your heart's content!
