In this country we are free to wear whatever we want. That does not mean that wearing everything is advisable. Like it or not people judge us by our appearance and they can be pretty nasty about it. perhaps it is unfortunate but it is the way it is. If we dress in "costumes" people label us and often that restricts our available choices in life.
I try to find things that make me feel good about myself and enhance my attitude and self esteem, not things that are designed to shock others. At age 29 I would be moving toward wearing things that enhance your image as young adult woman not a teenager.

Finally the culture of the place you work has a lot to do with what is appropriate. That varies around our country and certainly between countries. I always try to ask myself does what I am wearing enhance the person I know that I am and the image I want to project. A lot of time the advice and opinions of other women whose judgment you respect are helpful. After all most of us women need to continually ask "How do I look?"
