This might sound strange, but your body might be getting TOO MUCH sleep. Instead of setting an alarm for say, 8 hours, set it for 7, or 6.

I hear a lot of people say you need an average of 8 hours etc. etc., but some people need more or less sleep than the average. I feel better from sleeping an hour less than what is considered 'normal', and it might be the case with you.

It has something to do with our natural sleep cycles. You may be interrupting your natural rhythm, so you need to experiment to find a time to wake up that doesn't interrupt your sleep cycle.

So sleep at the time you usually do, but set your alarm to go off an hour earlier. See what effects this has.

This is just one of many ways you can try to improve your sleep, so don't lose hope if this doesn't work!
