Ok the solution to that is to have a graphic setup like I have with two monitors... so I can keep chat open on one monitor and keep my browser opeon on the other and check the forum or PMs or whatever...

That's my solution to everything... THROW MONEY AT IT

Seriously that would be nice but I'm guessing not very easy because the forum software and the chat software are two completely separate pieces of software. And there seems to be a lot of simple yet goofy things about the chat software... like you can't just paste something into the "send" box, instead it opens a separate box and you have to paste it in there and then it gets pasted into your message and then you can "send" it... lots of extra work.

With graphic apps there are often so many windows you need open at once that it effects working efficiency much more than just going between a few apps which is why a two-monitor setup is more common with graphic pros. It does spoil you to have the extra monitor available for simple tasks though.
