Hi! I know some people here have tried it, but I doubt it was for bipolar. Psychoanalytic therapy takes a long time and is expensive I have heard--and not many psychoanalysts are around except in big cities like New York. A therapy such as cognitive-behavioral or even Dialectical Behavior Therapy would be best, I think. I have been through those and now see a therapist to talk about stresses and such things in my current life.
