I bought a suit and talked my way into a job I was completely unqualified for.
PS, this is back in the 80s when woman's suits had very short skirts.

When I was hospitalized I kept everyone in stitches with my jokes about doctors and nurses. The docs and staff didn't much appreciate it much though.
