Hi my name is snowflake. I'll make this as brief as possible. Seven years ago I was diagnosed bipolar two and was given abilify 20mgs. I was already taking zoloft 50 mgs so I'm currently on both. I told the state psychiatrist that the abilify and zoloft weren't working and he acted like he Did all he could for me. Now at the time I was maniac depressive, he thought was either bipolar two or just really depressed. I didn't think the meds Were helping and tried to discontinue but the maniac depression and feelings Were too much. Now I'm in rapid cycles of mania. Anger outbursts and rage I cannot control that happen at least once a day and extremely irritable. I go from angry rage that doesn't last long to feeling extremely guilty for it. Then my mania switched to feeling euphoric, like superwoman hyperfocused, thinking I can do anything. And sometimes Im normal for a Days, while most of the time I'm either Superwoman or irritable. It's ruining my marriage and I have lost jobs because office my irritability and anger. Does anyone know if I'm rapid cycling because of the zoloft? I read that taking zoloft while bipolar can cause rapid cycling. I also read that it is hard treat as well. What kind if Medication with help? Any opinions or thoughts would be so appreciative.
