Yes and no; I find it can be difficult to deal with unstructured time when motivation and energy levels are low, but what is the alternative to lists of thing to get done, rewards to self and short rest periods with paper or book, to give focus, conserve energy and divide up the day?
The way I try to see it is that if I can use time efficiently at weekends I can take it a bit easier in the week evenings.
Which reminds me, I need to get down to the shops before it gets busy...
