Lamictal is amazing. I've been on tegretol, depakote and gabapentin over the years and lamictal has had the least side effects and has been the most consistently effective. I've been on it a year now after a surgery changed the paradigm of my condition. I've had no significant side effects but the medication has been adjusted (once up, once down) a little here and there but that comes with the territory.
