So my pdoc finally got back with me a little bit ago & she dc'd my lamictal. It was causing some major itchiness
The last time I took it was Saturday night before bed @ 25 mg. So it's been about 42 hours since I took it.
Now she's starting me back on Depakote but..... she's starting me on 1000mg my first night! I thought depakote had to be titrated up? The last time I took it I started at 500mg and stayed at that dose for a week then went up to 1000mg.

Is it safe to start out at 1000mg?

Also, starting the depakote so close to my last dose of lamictal should be alright, right? Just wondering because of the itchiness.
