Hi ToeJam. I think sometimes it helps just to rant and vent and talk to people who understand what you are going through. I know I do plenty of ranting and venting on here when I feel overwhelmed. Then I usually apologize for doing so. We are here to listen and support in any way we are able.
I can relate to wishing you could bounce back like when we were in our 20's. I wish I could bounce back like when I was in my 30's. That's the other bad part of depression and mental health issues. It robs you of your energy for things that you want to do. It becomes a chore to just get out of bed in the morning.
It's hard because somewhere down the line I think we all just want a day without hurting, pain, sadness, anxiety, and panic. Anyhow, hang in there and take life one day at a time, one hour at a time if you have to. And keep posting to us. Hugs and best of wishes.
