I am in the UK and pay for my weekly sessions but will soon have to end due to lack of finance. It's hard; I'm sorry I don't have any more advice but it is painful when feelings are left unresolved. I have thought about seeing her once a month while I try to save up some money to pay her - could this be something you could try?
