Oh my God... if that were me, I'd tell him to stop being so racist, and I would run so fast in the opposite direction. What a horrible way to treat a woman. :\ Very disrespectful, IMO. I get that his family may be ... well, racist, but that doesn't give him free reign to act as as you've described.
