Hello and welcome to Psych central. It is good to hear that you are having sessions with a therapist. If the thoughts are bothersome, then maybe you should keep a journal so you wll know what to tell your therapist. Fear can manifest itself in dreams and it is very important that you dont let the dreams create a void in your life, or cause harm to your mental health. I feel that you really need to stress that these dreams are very vivid and you would like help to persuade the dreams to be lessened and create less harm to you in the future. There are many therapies available for what you are going through and if the therapist is not aware of the therapies available or is not capable of helping you in a manner that is productive for your future then perhaps looking for a therapist that takes your case more seriously may be in order. I am glad that you have joined Psych Central. I think it is very admirable of you to seek the help you need for your dreams, and I hope you get the therapy you deserve soon from your therapist.
