S'OK, I think it's a perfectly reasonable question. Friendships don't come easily to us all.

I found that meeting one person led to meeting another, then another, then those people meant meeting more people, until I eventually came across a couple of people who ended up being friends. If you don't have that starting point, then a good way is to get out into some sort of event, groups, or perhaps even a part-time college course. Something that gets you meeting people.
