I recently had an incident with my step mom that left me angry and hurt. She accused me of things I never have done...but she is so sure I did. I let her rant...told her it wasn't me....let her carry on more...I sat and cried...listening. Finally she said she felt better...got up...and left my house. She felt better but for a few days I allowed her to hurt me emotionally. This isn't the first time I have had encounters of this type with her and probably not the last one. I decided to pick and chose what battles I will fight...and this one isn't worth it.
