Doesn't "dependent" mean someone that lives with you that you're supporting? This person has trouble working due to health problems but is not on SSDI? I don't know the details of specific insurance plans. You may or may not be able to keep them on your insurance, I don't know. Search the web, you might find an answer. The Blue Cross site may have an answer.
