I would propbably start looking for a new/better job. When I am comfortable, I have less desire to move, even for advancement. Last episode I had, this is what I did. Now I make twice as much. For me it was severe depression, not the manic side but I think my paranoia would bother me too much. I would not bring up the previous issue but if he does you can explain you were going through a rough time in your life. I would not mention being Bipolar. It has such a stigma attached to it and it is not his business.
