...feeling totally messed up and hopeless.
All your symptoms can be from different disorders. A lot of them suggest PTSD, dissociation and a mood disorder.

How long do the symptoms last? Do you know what triggers them?

It is possible to have awareness especially in the early stages of the illness and even after the psychosis has receded.
