As I have gotten older I have learned that when the pain is a lot of times is not where its coming from. My grandmother had horrible back pain and found out it was actually her legs that were giving her the trouble. She has surgery and the pain went away.

I had neck and shoulder pain and my sister in law (who is a massage therapist ) rubbed the muscles behind my shoulder blades and the pain went away. Finding where the trigger is might help.

Do you use a heating pad? Or switch between an ice pack and heating pad?
