Your summer sounds remarkably like the summer I was 19. I was depressed and moved back home for a few months and felt like my mom was constantly picking on me. My irritable bowel syndrome was flaring up and I had to be picky about what I ate. Mom accused me of getting stomachaches to get out of doing things I didn't want to do. (Of course, I'd much rather be doubled over in pain than running errands, or walking the dog, or seeing my friends...)
I ended up getting a job in a hardware store that was slowly going out of business...vendors wouldn't ship to us because the bills weren't getting paid, so we didn't have anything that was advertised in the newspapers. Customers constantly yelled at me (like I had anything to do with it).
It got better. It will for you too. You'll do fine at work--your employer wouldn't have hired you unless they thought you could perform.
Take care of yourself and your tummy first...if you have any energy left over then you can deal with your mom. : )
Take care,
apislily
