Ok you don't have to tell me, just have it in your mind. You could be honest, "I'm scared to talk to you about something, but I really want to get it out." T will reassure you that you can go slow and you don't have to quickly dump it if it's scary, and maybe will ask you some leading questions.
Don't be ashamed of being depressed! We are holding your hands, okay? We've been there as well, so not just saying that. You need us, reach out, okay?
