I also get auditory hallucinations. They are very different from my thoughts because they do not sound like my voice and are completely independent of what I am thinking and doing. Sometimes they can be very loud or quiet. The loud variety originate outside my head. It feels like someone is talking to me from behind. These voices belong to men and women. Some even have accents. They usually comment on my behavior. The quiet ones feel more like telepathic thoughts that sound like the person sending them. These are usually about God.
