There are voices in the head and voices outside of the head. I get more internal but also get external. Voices inside my head are very distinguishably from internal conversations I might have with myself, that I meen, thinking to myself. A voice inside your head or at least mine is very different! It sounds like a real voice coming from inside my head! As if there was a radio in my brain. It's sort of like ringing in the ears if you ever had that. External voices are the spookiest because it sounds like some one is standing right next to you and talking.
