Hi , I'm new here. I just have a question about taking time off work for stress leave. Basically I have been working for the past 2 years straight and I would say the past year has been getting harder and harder for me.Not only is there job related issues going on but my mental health is in very poor state. I've been stressed, having anxiety and panic attacks, PTSD flashbacks, majorly depressed and sleepless at night. I really think that it would be wise for me to take some time off and possibly get myself some counseling. However, my doctor is away right now on maternity leave and it takes ages to even get into the clinic I usually go to. If I go to a walk in clinic and explain my situation, would they be able to provide me with a doctor's note so that I would be able to let my employer know that I will be taking the time off? I am considering taking approximately 3 months off so I can get myself some much needed help. Thank You
