A few weeks ago I fell into a deep depression so my pdoc put me in hospital so I could have ECT. I had my first treatment on Wednesday and my second on Friday (yesterday Aus time). Almost immediately after my first treatment my mood started to lift and now a day after my second treatment I am feeling quite hypomanic - racing, disjointed thoughts, can't shut up, feel like a superhero). I am wondering if anyone else has had (hypo)mania triggered by ECT?
