Hi
I've popped over from the psychotherapy forum

I would really value some advice. I've SId off and on for about twenty years, often not doing it for a year or two.
We're going over some really difficult stuff in therapy, and I've been SIing quite a bit over the past six months, maybe once or twice a week
But I've noticed that I seem to be doing it a bit worse each time, and not caring about it so much. Like, I usually go over an old cut, so I don't get multiple scars, and usually just til it bleeds so it's never been bad. But now I feel like I just sort of go for it, get a bit carried away......sorry to be so graphic.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it possible for your pattern to change after so many years? Any tips on reining it in a bit? I don't want to stop, but it was manageable (and concealed) before....

Thanks
