penguinsing, I am sorry this happened. In small business places, owners/administrative managers think they can do what they want to do anytime. Would you please check your employment package? Is there something that was written about write up and grounds for termination of employment? What was the employment agreement? Was there something in a document that the owner breached something? You may consult chamber of commerce and department of labor about your case.
You may also take it as blessing in disguise that there is something better out there waiting for you and that terminating you was their big loss.
