Discuss the whole thing with T! We had to move into a conference room temporarily before we moved to her other offices, out of the usual other therapist's office she rented and that was horrible! Like being in no man's land and impersonal, etc.

But seriously, discuss it with your T because how your T feels about the move and the "new" office, etc. can impact your feelings about it and knowing for sure she likes moving or is looking forward to it or doesn't like it, etc. can help you feel closer to her in a you're-in-this-together sort of way and it makes it "okay" to be afraid or hate it or look at whatever feeling you do have and why.

I saw my T over 18 years total and so we were in many different offices over the years (over 27 years) and we would always talk about the various offices (after the fact usually :-) but I still remember the first time in one office that I described as "dreary" and "sleazy" LOL and she was really interested in why I felt that (and so was I! :-) and we discovered it reminded me of the old WWII apartment buildings I was brought home to after I was born (I was born 1950 so that was okay) and the pictures I have of my brothers out front playing with friends, etc. They still exist so you can imagine how "worn" and "dreary" they are and, being rundown by now, "sleazy", LOL.

Another office from early on in the 27 years I loved, it was modern and big/bright and "expensive" and I told her about year 24 what I felt about it and she hadn't thought anything of it, didn't particularly like it! It can be interesting if your T will share too, feels good, and can make being in a space with T feel nicer.
