We just got our phone bill (Verizon) and there were charges listed from a Directory Assistance Company called ONA, for seven dollars and some change.

We never called any directory service. Ever.

I of course Google them and find out people are getting scammed all over the place.

You might want to check your bills. It's not just Verizon.

Here is a good description of what they are doing. Some people have been hit up for a lot more.

Going to contact Verizon tomorrow.

This is the phone number that they said we called 101 515-8000.
