My T has recently started yawning during sessions. And still talking while she yawns, which obviously makes it more obvious. She does glance at the clock here and there, but I always thought it was a good thing...she was seeing how much time she had to bring up a particular topic that would take some time and perhaps make me emotional. But now I see that doesn't matter, (I posted about it last night). She HAS to keep her phone by her.... and I see her peer at it if it lights up with a message. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND emergencies, but honestly, I would think that's what the ground line could be for. My T and I HAVE texted, but I don't think it's her preferred method of communication (for business) so I only Email. I don't call either.

She googled once, but I had no problem with it because she was looking for a kind of business she suggested that might be closest to me....

So googling in your situation....I'd be curious. Checking the clock, I see it as her keeping track of time vs. topics. The yawning. Well I know for a fact I can stifle a yawn, but if I do yawn, I don't make it well known by being loud or talking through it. I don't believe I have yawned in therapy. And I am one who doesn't sleep much at night.
