My T moved offices almost a month ago. I was really upset when I found out, as I had really grown to love his office and entire building. It was really lovely and had nice trees.
Anyway, the new building was somewhat confusing to find, and his new office has terrible acoustics--our voices echo a bit. Also, the window has paper covering parts of it, and I haven't asked why. I mean, more or less, it looks the same the way it is set up, with the chairs and couches in their old spots...it just doesn't feel as "home" like, which is a shame. I told him immediately that I hated everything about it and that it creeps me out. He said that he is still "getting used to it."
Also, in the old building, I used to exit out the front door in the waiting room. Now, because of safety measures and the fact that I am the last client of the day, I exit out the back door. The first session I had at his new building, the back door was just open. And we were the only ones in the building. I was like, "Ummmm that is creepy! Walk me to my car?" (I didn't say that, but I really wanted to, haha).
So, in short, no it didn't change much. When he updated the website regarding the new address/location, underneath he put, "Change is good." I somewhat agree! You'll get used to it.
