i'm afraid it isn't simple as that and i think you should be sensitive to the feelings of people with schizophrenia.

one third of people in developed western nations recover from schizophrenia.

two thirds of people in developing western nations recover from schizophrenia.

(check out the WHO studies for the precise stats).
