There's so much conflicting information. I gave up on following a lot of the latest food news ages ago. Fat is bad, then fat is good. Carbs are good and then they're bad. Dairy is healthy, then dairy is bad. Fish is good, then fish is bad. Soy is good, then soy is bad... etc. A practitioner of Chinese medicine told me that blueberries would make my IBS worse, then a naturopath told me blueberries were the best thing for me... etc. At one point, I was reading so much about food safety and what's good and what's bad, I became paranoid about eating fruit because I was so worried about pesticides. I finally just had to relax a bit about all of it.
I love eggs. They're easy to prepare, they're filling and they're full of protein -- lots of energy. They're also easy on my touchy tummy. My levels of the bad cholesterol are very low, so my doc said the eggs aren't doing me any harm. In fact, they're good for me. She said eggs (yolks in particular) should be eaten in moderation by people with cholesterol problems, but they're good for most people with healthy cholesterol levels.
