Okay, I've only re-written this 20 times!
T: Comes out in the waiting room and calls my name
T: Greets me with a hug (no laughing at me yet!)
Me: It's easier for me to open up if you are sitting here with me rather than half way across the room!
T: Okay, <he sits next to me>
Me: <I lean back on his shoulder feeling comfortable>
T: So how do you feel today?
Me: Much better thank you!!!!
Then we have our normal session. My therapist reminds me of a guy friend I have. They have similar personalities. He's my gay friend so nothing ever happens in case anyone is wondering! We sit next to each other all the time. I kind of lean back on him and we talk for hours and laugh. It's really the only way I can open up like I need to.
I know, the above isn't therapy, it's friendship. See that's what I need, my T as a friend!!
Okay now you all can laugh!
