Hi, gkoid, and welcome to Psych Central! Vicodon is certainly a drug that people can get addicted to, and it is a bad addiction. I suggest you get some support for staying off of it. Talk to a doc to see what treatment places are around. You can stay off away from it! It can be done!

I take such drugs, but I am careful not to take more than prescribed. I can see how the good feeling/high would be addictive.

Maybe someone here with this issue will come along soon.
