I used to meditate half an hour every day in high school. I really think it helped my anxiety and depression issues. My best friend was Thai and it's something like 98% of people there take part it in. I now drive about 40 minutes to sit with a group. The cool part is that you don't have to be any specific religion to take part. You learn to control your body and mind as one over time and it is great for the digestive system.
