I'm not DID.....but I totally believe that DBT is a wonderful type of therapy....it's the only one that has truly helped me because it focuses on mindfulness.....seeing the big picture, putting your logical & emotional mind together to find a working solution to problems in one's life.

It teaches how to recognize emotions & how to regulate them using skills & it also teaches how to deal with distress by building up a tolerance for it using skills.....also teaches interpersonal communicatins which is a good way of learning how to set up boundaries & learning functional ways to talk with other's to get your needs met or to determine if you can meet the needs of others who have asked.

I personally believe that even with DID.....it's still your brain that's functioning even if it's split into other alters....each could benefit from the concepts & I would think it would help with integration.....that's thinking from someone who has learned so much about how to live from DBT & it has truly freed my life
