That is a discussion you need to have with your T & make sure that you get their elaboration......

If you have just been diagnosed with DID.....your T is probably just getting started trying to figure out a treatment plan & as your T gets to know you better I'm sure it will be revised for what will work for you.

Patience is probably a good thing right now...& as you go through your therapy, your T will probably point out the DBT skills that would work in the specific situations......
