1. I LOVE red rope or red vine licorice (not twizzlers), can't stand anything with anise or black licorice, even the smell of it, *puke*.
2. I collect sea shells and handblown glass pumpkins.
3. I am ambidextrous, which comes in handy especially at work to use the mouse with my left and write my notes with my right, but drives people at work up the wall having the mouse on the wrong side of the desk so I move it over when I leave the desk.
4. I have had more accidents than I can count in all these decades even been carried away but never more than scrapes and bruisies, a few concussions though, but been fortunate that way.
5. Inconsideration and intolerance for others bothers me more than I can say.
6. I wear glasses pretty much all the time now due to my job, no contacts allowed.
7. I have 3 dogs and wall-to-wall aquariums.
8. I enjoy woodworking: repairing and refinishing furniture, and carving.
9. I can draw and have attempted to paint recently; the painting is questionable right now.
10. I cannot stand even my own singing but still love to do it. It is so bad even the dogs howl at me. I try to think of it as we are singing together.
11. I am a tomboy at heart.
12. However, I have a hand fetish for myself as I have gotten older; I love for my nails to be done,manicured, changing the polish with my mood, but I am never worried if they get messed up due to the tomboy in me. They can always be fixed, which leads to....
13. I can fix just about anything, jill of all trades, do almost all my own repairs, but have enough sense to know when to call in pro.
14. I have an antique car, a 1936 Nash that I am restoring.
15. I love the smell of gardenias and freesias.
16. Sunsets are my favorite time of day.
17. Aqua and red are my favorite colors but not together.
18. My fear is that I will not be able to make a go of going back to work.
19. I love horses.
20. I would love to have horses again and need work to be able to reach that goal.
21. I play the lottery once in awhile too in that hope, despite knowing the terrible odds, despite going against every sound financial advice I have ever learned, but one can hope.
22. I used to be a world traveler and my last passport was filled with stamps from all over; however due to the MH issues over the last decade, my newest passport is empty, and it depresses me that I have not gone anywhere. There are still places I would like to see, but I don't know I will ever be able to leave again and fear what that will mean, staying homebound; yet I also don't know that I can travel again either realistically. I don't know that I will be ok with this yet either. *Sigh*
23. I adore my family; we are very close.
24. I went back to school in my late 30's for an associates degree
25. I went back in my early 40's for a bachelor's degree.
26. Summer is my favorite time of year.
27. I am obsessive about the house, organizing and repairing it, and love to decorate it.
28. If I am not playing with the dogs, I am reading, or watching movies, snuggling with the dogs, especially as of late.
29. I count the minutes of the day until work is done to get through the days now. I've never been in a position like this before, hate is a strong word, but is fitting.
30. I love to garden but my thumb isn't quite black, we'll call it purple; I'm just amazed every time something actually grows.
