I am at the lower end of the high functioning part of the spectrum. What sets me apart from people with Asperger's is that I have severe sensory issues, self injurious behaviors and I stim. I have a good vocabulary although at times it's hard to put things together when I'm actually speaking.

Asperger's is often (although people are different) related mostly to social interaction skills. I definitely have an issue with this as well but since you add the other things it ranks as autism. I am able to live independently for the most part. Of course it's hard but I am determined.
