I feel like everything is pointless. Meds don't work. I don't want to get attached to someone who's main goal is to leave me "when I'm ready". I don't even want to try therapy at this point because I don't know how to open up without getting attached.

It might make your abandonment issues worse. But those issues are also affecting your life. So the hope of therapy is to learn how to cope with your issues.
