I took it years and years ago and just quit taking it .. Never had a problem.. Seems I have never had a problem just up and quitting a med of any kind cold turkey.

I would imagine that sitting down with the Doctor and explaining how you would like to be part of your treatment decisions in the future would be priority # 1 .
